Events
We all love to compete!
IFC is the proud host to a variety of events throughout the year. These events can range from classic powerlifting events and push/pull competitions to even a Golf Outing at Bedford Trails.
IFC is also proud to host a USS Sanctioned Strongman Competition to allow athletes from all over try their hand and grit at our facility for a chance to qualify for Nationals or set new PRs!

Did you miss it? No worries. Re-live IFC's biggest and strongest day yet!
The 3rd Annual Ohio's Strongest was held in the
CASTLO Industrial Park. This year played host to 90
competitors, 400 spectators, and a USS Axle Clean and
Press Record event. There was a functional fitness
competition held concurrently to broaden the scope of
strength of the day by The Apex.
The benefactor of this
competition was the Philip Strong Fund. The Fund is
named after Philip Igo. By the age of 6, Philip, of
Campbell, OH, had gone through two separate battles
with cancer. Sadly, in April of 2022, Philip lost his battle.
However, his strength and spirit lives on through his
family, friends, and the Philip Strong Fund.
2023 Ohio's Strongest
The 4th Annual Ohio's Strongest was held out front of
Iron Fit Crew. This year played host to 105 competitors,
600+ spectators, and multiple world (WR) and national
records. The competition was broken into two sections,
Records for Nora and Ohio’s Strongest. Kira Wrixon set
WRs for the u64kg women in Circus Dumbbell and 18"
Deadlift. Nadia Morrison set a WR in the Block Press for
the same class.
The benefactor of this competition was
the Sabella family. The Sabella’s daughter, Nora, was
the inspiration behind the event. By the age of 9, Nora,
of Boardman, OH, had gone through 5 whole years of
battles with cancer. Sadly, in April of 2023, Nora lost her
battle. However, her strength and spirit lives on through
her family, friends, and strength athletes around the
world.
IFC annual outing
So, you can throw the weights around... but can you swing a club? For the past couple years, IFC has hosted a Golf Outing at Bedford Trails Golf Course to help fundraise for new equipment so the facility can continue to grow along with its members. Information will be shared on social media closer to the event.
Help us be the best we can be, and have a great time doing it!
